Analog Design Automation Inc.

Build Manager (February 2001 - February 2002)

• Implemented and maintained a complete build system to allow compilation of ADA's software products on Linux, Sun Solaris, and HP-UX
• Designed and implemented a custom system to create release candidates of ADA's software automatically and make them available to the testing group
• Established a policy to manage code changes between different branches of code
• Managed and maintained Perforce, ADA's revision control system
• Enhanced corporate intranet to provide up-to-date information on new software builds
• Provided technical support to developers, testers, analog designers, and sales and marketing staff

• Designed and implemented several DOS and Windows software applications that control specialized equipment (built in-house) and/or manipulate their data

• Built and administrated a Debian GNU/Linux-based firewall for the company's Internet access needs

• Linux administration (shell/Python scripts, SSH, VNC, performance monitoring)
• Experience with Windows and Linux-based networking solutions, including firewalls/ipchains, SAMBA, TCP/IP and socket programming
• Experience with Apache and MySQL, Microsoft IIS and SQL Server
• Experience with small- to medium-scale project organization and management
• These skills have been used to create a complete home network for myself, including a firewall, file server, backup system, and remote access capabilities

• Good working knowledge of shell scripting, sed/awk usage, SQL, assembly languages
