My Trip to Europe (August to November 1997)

These are a variety of photos that I took while I was on my European trip. I was sent to work at the European arm of the company I used to work for, which is called Kipp and Zonen. K&Z is located in Holland, where I spent most of my time.

Trip Summary

In early August 1997, I learned that my company wanted me to work at our sister company for three months (an exchange of sorts). I decided to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to visit my ancestral homeland of Norway. I travelled from Norway, though Copenhagen and Germany to Holland, where I began work. Much of my trip was spent travelling around Holland on the weekends and such, travelling the beautiful countryside and sightseeing. Near the end of my trip, I was given the opportunity to travel to the south of France and visit Cassis, which is a beautiful town on the Mediterranean coast, where a spent a long weekend.

These are many of my photos I took during my trip. I'm a big scenery, outdoors kind of guy, so they dominate the selection. I don't have any pictures with me in them because I didn't take very many (besides, they didn't turn out very good). The photos are large; I didn't bother putting in thumbnails, so be patient.
